Querciantica

COLOUR Intense ruby red with violet reflections.
BOUQUET Uniquely rich organoleptic characteristics, intense, pleasantly fruity (strawberry, marasca cherry) and flowery (violet, rosebuds).
TASTE Soft, lightly tannic, hints of almond perfectly complementing its bouquet.
HARVEST Usually mid-September. The grapes are placed in small cases then sent to our winery where they are vinified, further to a meticulous selection.
FERMENTATION After destemming, the grapes are placed in steel vats where temperature-controlled fermentation takes place. Skin maceration lasts about 20 days with daily pump overs, which are almost always closed in order to better save the fruity and flowery aromas that characterize this grape variety.

Suggested dish-matching

You can drink it alone. Cheese, meat and some nice vegetables will perfectly match with this special taste.

About the producer: Velenosi Vini

Velenosi's farm was founded in 1984 by two young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi. In 2005, with the arrival of a new partner, Dr. Paul Garbini, Velenosi Ltd was created. Over three decades, their passion has allowed them to learn quickly, to improve the production techniques and create a respectable winery where, through the use of advanced equipment, they produce quality wine.
